REVIEW OF THE SCIENTIFIC AND RESEARCH ACTIVITIES OF THE FACULTY OF PSYCHOLOGY On 17 November 2025, the Faculty of Psychology held its annual report on the results of the scientific and research activities of the faculty’s academic staff. The event was attended by and featured speeches from: the Vice-Rector for Science, Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Professor
Rajabzoda S.I.; the Head of the Department of Science and Innovation, Abdujalilzoda F.; the Academic Secretary of Dissertation Councils, Valizoda J.; the Dean of the Faculty, Associate Professor Saidzoda N.; as well as heads of departments.
The Dean of the Faculty, Associate Professor Saidzoda N., presented a detailed report on the scientific and research activities of the faculty’s academic staff for 2025. In his presentation, it was noted that in 2025, the scientific and research activities of the Faculty of Psychology covered the work of four departments: Special Pedagogy and Inclusive Education; Social Psychology and Family Relations; General and Pedagogical Psychology; and General University Psychology. Research was carried out across 4 directions, 4 issues, and 4 themes.
In total, the Faculty of Psychology employs 35 instructors, of whom 30 participated in scientific and research activities in 2025.
The distribution of academic staff by scientific field is as follows: 1 Candidate of Philological Sciences (including 1 woman); 13 Candidates of Pedagogical Sciences (including 7 women); 1 Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor (including 1 woman); and 2 Candidates of Psychological Sciences. The average age of the faculty’s academic staff holding scientific degrees is 45 years.
It should be noted that 13 master’s students study under the four departments of the faculty. Since January 2025, the publication activity of the faculty’s academic staff is represented as follows: 5 monographs, 4 textbooks, 4 methodological manuals, 3 teaching aids, 46 articles in the journals of the Higher Attestation Commission of Tajikistan, 48 international articles, 61 national articles, and 81 popular science publications (including “Omoozgor” newspaper, university conferences, and the university website).
The scientific potential of the Faculty of Psychology in 2025 amounted to 45.7%, which is an increase of 8.56% compared to the previous year.
It is also worth noting that in 2025, the academic staff of the Faculty of Psychology, with the aim of increasing psychological literacy in society, developing independent thinking among youth, assisting in solving individual and social problems, raising public awareness of psychological issues, ensuring a healthy educational environment, and supporting professional development in various fields, conducted more than 75 televised speeches and carried out more than 200 forensic-psychological examinations.
