INFORMATION SHEET ACTIVITIES OF TAJIK STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY NAMED AFTER SADRIDDIN AINI IN 2025
1. Global Standing and International Rankings - In 2025, the University ranked 8th in the Higher Education Ranking (HEQAC) among 422 universities from 55 countries, scoring 8,136 points. - The University ranked 2nd in the Russian Science Citation Index (Elibrary.ru) among 69 higher education and research institutions nationwide, with 6,597 scientific publications. 2. Education, Training, and Capacity Building - The number of study groups taught in Russian increased to 53 (22 more than in 2024). - In 2025, 33 researchers defended dissertations (3 Doctoral, 19 Candidate, 11 PhD), an increase of 12 compared to the previous year. - The number of high-achieving students reached 749 (90 more than in 2024). - 75 female students received project-based scholarships (USD 40 per month). - The academic and teaching capacity of the University increased to 52.6% (48.2% in 2024). 3. Research and Scientific Achievements - 43 scientific projects were submitted to the Coordination Council of KIT AMIT, 15 of which were recommended for funding. - Faculty members published 60 monographs and 53 textbooks, including 33 approved by the Ministry of Education and Science. - The number of publications indexed in Web of Science and Scopus increased. 4. Achievements of Students and the University Lyceum - The University secured 1st place nationwide in the republican competition “Furughi Subhi Donoi — Kitob Ast”, winning 6 awards (5 second places and 1 third place). - Lyceum students achieved 45 prize-winning places in national and international competitions and Olympiads (17 in the previous year), including: 1st place — 11 students 2nd place — 15 students 3rd place — 16 students Honorable mention — 3 students 5. Infrastructure and Laboratories - In 2025, a new physics faculty laboratory was launched. The University now operates 30 laboratories (25 educational and 5 research). - More than 5,000 units of educational and technical equipment were produced in the Technology Park. 6. Academic Mobility and International Cooperation - 26 students were enrolled from the universities of Khorog and Kulob. - 36 students participated in academic exchange programs with universities in Belarus, Uzbekistan, South Korea, China, and Kazakhstan. - New international cooperation agreements were signed with universities in Korea, India, Belarus, and Russia. - Two cultural centers were opened: the “Chinese Center” and the “Korean Center”. 7. Scholarships and Staff Incentives - 10 individuals received Presidential Scholarships (4 more than the previous year). - The number of recipients of merit-based scholarships reached 483 (an increase of 76). - Faculty salaries were increased by 10% to enhance motivation and improve educational quality. In 2025, the University made steady progress toward development and international recognition through significant academic and educational achievements. These accomplishments strengthened educational quality, fostered student talent development, and enhanced faculty motivation.
