In order to strengthen international cooperation and practically implement the experience exchange program with Jeonbuk National University, the first group of citizens from this country has been admitted to Tajik State Pedagogical University named after Sadriddin Ayni. According to the program, they will study the Tajik language for one year and then continue their studies at the level of higher professional education at this institution. This initiative is being implemented for the first time in the history of direct cooperation between the two universities.

It is worth noting that in 2025, the Rector of the Tajik State Pedagogical University named after Sadriddin Ayni, Ahliddin Ibodullozoda, visited the Republic of Korea, while the President of Jeonbuk National University, Yang O-Bong, paid a visit to the Republic of Tajikistan. As a result of these visits, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the two institutions, and the Center for Korean Culture and the International Center for Joint Cooperation of the two universities were launched at the university. These measures have created a solid foundation for the exchange of students and faculty members, as well as for the implementation of educational programs and the development of joint research initiatives.

Within the framework of the academic exchange program, approximately 50 students from the university have been sent to the Republic of Korea over the past two years.

In this context, the first admission of citizens of the Republic of Korea to the university represents another significant step toward the internationalization of education.

The implementation of such programs not only promotes the expansion of academic cooperation with foreign countries but also creates favorable conditions for attracting more applicants from various states and strengthening the university’s reputation in the international arena.

At present, citizens of the People's Republic of China are also pursuing master’s degree studies at the university in various fields of specialization. The Tajik State Pedagogical University named after Sadriddin Ayni is the only university in the country where citizens of this neighboring state have the opportunity to study at the master’s level.

These developments demonstrate the growing status of the institution within the international academic and educational community.
