A ceremonial gathering dedicated to Mother’s Day was held at the Tajik State Pedagogical University named after Sadriddin Ayni. The event was attended by the university’s leadership, guests, professors, and staff members. They highlighted the high status of women and mothers in society and their contribution to raising a healthy generation and developing the fields of science and education.

In his speech, the Rector of the University, Ahliddin Ibadullozoda, noted that a mother is a symbol of love, kindness, and the source of life, and that her role in the moral and spiritual formation of society is extremely significant. It was emphasized that during the years of the country’s independence, under the leadership of the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, the status and position of women and mothers in society have risen even higher, and favorable conditions have been created for their activities in all spheres of public life.

During the event, a number of active women of the university were honored for their productive work in the field of science and education and their valuable contribution to the training of young specialists. They received letters of appreciation from the Rector of the University, the Trade Union of Education and Science Workers of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Executive Committee of the People’s Democratic Party of Tajikistan in the Ismoili Somoni district, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The cultural program prepared by the university’s teachers and staff added a special festive atmosphere to the event, featuring songs, poetry recitations, and interesting performances.
