On May 8 of this year, an important and beneficial meeting was held in the hall of the Tajik State Pedagogical University named after Sadriddin Ayni between representatives of the Dushanbe City Court and the Ismoili Somoni District Court with the university’s teachers, staff, and students.

This event was organized within the framework of the university’s educational and awareness-raising work plan in cooperation with judicial authorities. It was dedicated to discussing the content of the Address of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, to the Supreme Assembly of the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as other important issues facing modern society.

During the meeting, participants thoroughly discussed pressing contemporary issues, including the prevention of radicalism, terrorism, and extremism; resistance to blind imitation of foreign cultures; prevention of human trafficking; raising the level of national self-awareness and political consciousness; respect for national and state values; and ways to combat corruption. Participants also shared opinions on the implementation of the laws of the Republic of Tajikistan “On the Regulation of Traditions, Celebrations and Ceremonies in the Republic of Tajikistan” and “On Responsibility for the Education and Upbringing of Children,” as well as the significance of declaring 2025–2030 as the “Years of Digital Economy and Innovation Development.”

The event was attended by the Vice-Rector of the University for Educational Affairs Nazarzoda Nigora, Deputy Chairperson of the Dushanbe City Court Rahmonzoda Malohat Soleh, judges of the Dushanbe City Court — Nasrullozoda Sayda, Mahmadullozoda Izatullo, Halimzoda Muhammadjon, Nazarzoda Aziz, Jobirzoda Surayo Hofiz, Badalzoda Mahmud Mahmadali, Nazarzoda Khovar, Karimzoda Davlatsho, the Head of the Educational Department, deans of faculties, staff members of the Educational Department, and deputy deans for educational affairs.

At the beginning of the event, Nigora Nazarzoda opened the meeting, introduced the guests to the audience, and warmly welcomed them to the center of science and education. In her speech, she emphasized that the university administration, following the wise and constructive policy of the Leader of the Nation, continuously organizes various educational events aimed at increasing the political and legal awareness of young people and preventing negative phenomena. It was noted that the fight against terrorism and extremism is the sacred duty of every conscious and patriotic citizen, and that young people should be educated in the spirit of patriotism, national identity, and respect for national values.

Afterward, Sayyoda Nasrullozoda delivered an informative speech about the content of the Leader of the Nation’s Address and ways to prevent young people from joining extremist groups and movements. She stressed that extremist groups today attempt to influence the minds of young people through social networks and media platforms. In such conditions, strengthening patriotism, national self-awareness, and respect for state values was described as a reliable shield protecting society from modern threats.

Continuing the meeting, Muhammadjon Halimzoda spoke about important social and legal issues, including combating negative influences, respecting the law, the responsible use of social media, appreciation of national culture, and contributing to the development and prosperity of the homeland. He encouraged students to pursue knowledge deeply, actively participate in competitions and academic Olympiads, and strictly observe the Constitution and laws of the Republic of Tajikistan.

At the conclusion of the event, a question-and-answer session was held in an open and friendly atmosphere. Students asked interesting and important questions regarding the discussed topics and received detailed and clear answers. The exchange of ideas among participants was considered educational and beneficial, and it was emphasized that such meetings play an important role in strengthening worldview, legal and political awareness, patriotism, and the upbringing of well-educated youth.
