THE ACADEMIC COUNCIL OF THE TAJIK STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY NAMED AFTER SADRIDDIN AYNI The Academic Council of the Tajik State Pedagogical University named after Sadriddin Ayni is an elected body, serving as the legislative and representative organ of the university's primary staff. It addresses the most pressing issues related to education, science, upbringing, international relations, and economic activities. The activities of the Academic Council are guided by the "Regulations on the Academic Council of the Tajik State Pedagogical University named after Sadriddin Ayni" and the "Charter of the State Institution 'Tajik State Pedagogical University named after Sadriddin Ayni'." The composition of the Academic Council is determined by the meeting chair, the university rector, and other members of the council. The Academic Council commenced its activities in 1931 when the teaching staff included 5 doctors of sciences, professors, and 48 candidates of sciences. The current composition of the Academic Council includes 35 members. The "Work Plan of the Academic Council of the Tajik State Pedagogical University named after Sadriddin Ayni" for the 2023–2024 academic year was approved on August 29, 2023 (No. 1/1) by the meeting chair, the university rector. The work plan includes the discussion of 67 key issues related to education, science, upbringing, international relations, and economic activities. Additionally, 135 to 150 current issues are addressed annually. At the end of each academic semester, under the leadership of the chairperson, a working group is formed to analyze the implementation of the council's decisions. |
