ESTABLISHING COOPERATION WITH THE FACULTY OF ASIAN AND MIDDLE EASTERN STUDIES AT THE UNIVERSITY OF CAMBRIDGE

As part of the official visit of the delegation of higher education leaders of the Republic of Tajikistan to the United Kingdom, an important meeting was held with the leadership and faculty members of the Faculty of Asian and Middle Eastern Studies at the University of Cambridge.

This faculty is one of the world’s leading academic centres for the study of the languages, literature, history, culture, and sociology of Asian and Middle Eastern countries. It possesses a rich academic base and a team of highly qualified international scholars. Researchers at the faculty conduct scientific work in various fields, including history, literature, linguistics, sociology, cultural studies, contemporary politics, and social anthropology.

DISCUSSION ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF COOPERATION WITH REPRESENTATIVES OF THE CENTRAL ASIAN FORUM AT THE UNIVERSITY OF CAMBRIDGE

ROUND TABLE: THE CONSTITUTION — THE NATION’S CHARTER OF HAPPINESS

Today, on November 5 of the current year, a round table on the topic “The Constitution — The Nation’s Charter of Happiness” was held at the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics, dedicated to the Constitution Day of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The event was attended by the Dean of the Faculty, Zevarshozoda Umar, Associate Professor of the Department of Law, Davlatzoda Faridun, as well as teachers and students.

During the session, specialist Davlatzoda Faridun delivered a speech on the essence and significance of this important state document and, at the end, answered the participants’ questions.
