SUMMARY OF THE ADVANCED TRAINING COURSE FOR RUSSIAN LANGUAGE TEACHERS
Within the framework of implementing the instructions and guidelines of the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, aimed at the study and development of foreign languages, and by order of the Rector of the Tajik State Pedagogical University, Ahliddin Ibadullozoda, an advanced training course was conducted for teachers of the Faculty of Russian Language and Literature.
The course was organized as part of the International Scientific and Practical Conference entitled “World Literature and Methods of Teaching the Russian Language in the Modern World of Innovative Technologies”, held on January 28 of the current year. A methodological and training seminar continued on January 29–30.

OFFICIAL START OF UNIVERSITY REGISTRATION IN SCOPUS ELSEVIER
On January 29, 2026, the responsible unit of the Scopus-Elsevier Institutional Correction Team sent an official notification to the university. According to it, the process of registering the university as a scientific institution in the Scopus-Elsevier system has officially begun and is currently at the stage of administrative review.
All necessary documents are expected to be submitted within the next four working weeks. At this stage, the registration issue is being considered, but the process has not yet been finalized.
This initiative provides researchers and scientists with the opportunity to correctly indicate their institutional affiliation in scientific articles, publish their research results in international journals, and increase their citation and scientific visibility metrics. At the same time, this process contributes to enhancing the scientific reputation of the university and promoting the scientific achievements of the Republic of Tajikistan at the international level.
The university administration is also taking measures to ensure that the institution’s scientific journals are prepared in accordance with international standards and can be proposed in the future for inclusion in the list of Scopus-Elsevier peer-reviewed journals.

NEW PUBLICATION “DICTIONARY OF HOMOGENEOUS WORDS OF THE SOUTHERN DIALECT OF THE TAJIK LANGUAGE”
In order to implement the instructions of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – the Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, esteemed Emomali Rahmon, regarding the collection and study of words and terms of Tajik dialects, a new scientific-research book titled “Dictionary of Homogeneous Words of the Southern Dialect of the Tajik Language” was prepared and published by researchers S. Rahmatullozoda and R. Kholnazarion.
In speeches and normative documents, including the “State Language Development Program for 2020–2030”, special attention is given to the study and preservation of the lexical treasure of Tajik dialects. In this context, the creation of this dictionary is considered an important initiative in the study of Tajik dialects.

VISIT OF GUESTS TO THE UNIVERSITY MUSEUM
Today, within the framework of the international scientific and practical conference entitled “World Literature and Methods of Teaching the Russian Language in the Modern World of Innovative Technologies,” representatives of scientific and educational institutions from Sweden, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan visited the University Museum.
During the museum tour, the guests were provided with detailed information about the history and culture of the Tajik people, the natural environment of Tajikistan, as well as the stages of development and achievements of the university from its establishment to the present day.
As a result, the guests had the opportunity to closely familiarize themselves with the exhibits, historical documents, and the institution’s scientific and educational achievements.

INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC AND PRACTICAL CONFERENCE LAUNCHED AT THE UNIVERSITY
From January 28 to 29, 2026, the Tajik State Pedagogical University named after Sadriddin Aini is hosting an international scientific and practical conference entitled “World Literature and Methods of Teaching the Russian Language in the Modern World of Innovative Technologies.”
The conference is dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan and the 95th anniversary of the Tajik State Pedagogical University named after Sadriddin Aini.

UNIVERSITY STUDENT BECOMES AWARD WINNER OF COMPETITION
 Gulijon Ruziboeva, a first-year student majoring in Physics and Mathematics at the Faculty of Physics of the Sadriddin Ayni State Pedagogical University of Tajikistan, participated in a competition organized by the Committee on Youth Affairs and Sports under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan in the “Inventor” category and became a laureate of the contest.
