The flag - a symbol of patriotism and national identity
The Flag, Сoat of arms and Constitution, along with the pillars of statehood, are considered national shrines of each country. The main essence of the flag is to unite people to achieve a common goal. As follows from the pages of the rich history of our people, one of the first flag-bearers of our people was Kova the blacksmith, who fought to destroy the foundations of cruelty and tyranny and gain freedom and independence. For many centuries, the flag has been the pride and pride of our ancestors, and among the symbols and pillars of their statehood, it occupied an honorable position.
When we look at the history of our people's past today -at the beginning of the twentieth century - we clearly see that our ancestors lined up under the banner and sacrificed themselves to protect their borders and their boom.
In the east, the flag was first mentioned in "Shahnameh "Firdavsi as "Dirafshi Kova". Dirafshi kovieni was the flag of all the legendary kings and the national flag of Iran in the Kushan and Sasanian treaties.
