REVIEW OF PROSPECTS AND CHALLENGES OF HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS AT THE NEXT MEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF RECTORS
On May 3, 2025, the next meeting of the Council of Rectors of Higher Professional Education Institutions of the Republic of Tajikistan was held in the conference hall of the Tajik State University of Finance and Economics.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan Lutfiyya Abdulkhaliqzoda, Chairman of the Council of Rectors Akhliddin Ibodullozoda, members of the Council - rectors and directors of higher education institutions, as well as responsible staff of the Ministry of Education and Science.

PUBLICATION OF A UNIVERSITY PROFESSOR'S ARTICLE IN A PRESTIGIOUS LONDON JOURNAL
An article by the Dean of the Faculty of Physics of the Tajik State Pedagogical University named after Sadriddin Ayni, Talbakzoda Farhod, has been published in the renowned London journal "IntechOpen". The article pertains to the exact sciences and is titled "Approximation of Uniform Almost Periodic Functions by Inclusions and Integrals". Undoubtedly, scientific progress is achieved through collaboration, and the publication of academic articles by university faculty in such prestigious journals provides an opportunity for them to exchange experiences, present their scientific achievements at an international level, and acquire new scientific knowledge from colleagues in other countries.

WINNING FIVE PRIZES AT THE REPUBLICAN STAGE OF THE SUBJECT OLYMPIAD
The Center for Talent Identification and Development under the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan organized an academic olympiad in 13 school subjects to discover talented and capable students from grades 5 to 11 across lyceums, gymnasiums, and general education institutions nationwide. The olympiad consisted of four stages, with the final (republican) stage concluded in April.
Students from the Lyceum at the Tajik State Pedagogical University named after S. Ayni actively participated in the event and earned five honorary third-place awards:

POLITICAL LECTURE: "THE ROLE OF WOMEN IN THE PRE-ISLAMIC HISTORY OF TAJIKISTAN"
Today, a political lecture on one of the important topics — "The Role of Women in the Pre-Islamic History of Tajikistan" — was held at the Tajik State Pedagogical University named after S. Ayni.
The topic was thoroughly explained by Davlatsho Mahmudov, a lecturer at the Faculty of History and Law, using verified facts and historical documents.

MEETING OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE GENERAL PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE WITH THE UNIVERSITY ADMINISTRATION, FACULTY, AND STUDENTS
Today, in accordance with the action plan of the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Tajikistan, a meeting was held between representatives of the Office and the administration, faculty, and students of the Tajik State Pedagogical University named after Sadriddin Ayni.
The event was attended by and featured speeches from the Rector of the Tajik State Pedagogical University, Ahliddin Ibodullozoda; the Head of the Department for the Legality of Judicial Acts in Criminal Cases of the General Prosecutor’s Office of Tajikistan, Tahmina Muminzoda; and Senior Prosecutor of the Department for Supervision over the Implementation of Laws Concerning Minors and Youth, Rahmatullo Kholov.

On May 2, 2025, a meeting on the assignment of young specialists was held at the Tajik State Pedagogical University named after Sadriddin Ayni.
The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Education and Science Lutfia Abdulkholiqzoda, a representative of the Personnel and Special Affairs Department of the Ministry of Education and Science, the First Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the University, as well as 75 representatives from education departments across cities and districts of the republic.

STUDENTS OF THE FACULTY OF PEDAGOGY VISITED THE UNIVERSITY MUSEUM
Today, two groups of students from the Faculty of Pedagogy, according to the event plan, visited the Museum of the Tajik State Pedagogical University named after Sadriddin Ayni and explored its exhibition halls. During the excursion, the responsible guide introduced the students to the achievements of the independence period, the beautiful nature of Tajikistan, the rich history and culture of the Tajik people, as well as the activities of the country's first higher educational institution and its recent accomplishments.
